To add content to a site's content library or layout, the content must be supported in Enterprise as an item type.

Content families
Supported items are organized into nonconfigurable families. The preview page that opens for an item when viewing it in the context of Enterprise its content family. If you navigate to a view that is not the priority view for that item type, then you will not be directed to the priority view. The following table shows which preview page opens by default for a given item type.
